Viable Cell Density - Fogale evo 200
This On-Line analyzer measures the Viable Cell Density in any cultivation; mammalian cell culture, yeast and bacteria fermentation.
Only cells with intact cell membrane are measured, and solids or gas bubbles are not measured!
For fed-batch, draw-fill and perfusion, this gives important additional information for monitoring and control.
It is even possible to measure the average cell size and cell size distribution, using frequency scanning.
